CHALLENGE
How do we change the dated and traditional perception of Girl Guides of Canada?
SOLUTION
The creative team turned three classic and familiar campfire songs (Bingo, Down By the Bay, and The Wheels on the Bus) into Girl Guides Fire Songs as anthems of empowerment and used them to demonstrate how amazing things happen when girls get together. I contributed to the project by designing the 🔥🔥🔥 Songs' logo lockup, GIFs and the Spotify album cover. I also explored concept posters that would help promote the songs and change the dated perception of Girl Guides of Canada. We wanted to convey the idea that girls are encouraged to be ambitious, outspoken, and inclusive. The fiery spirit of Girl Guides today is represented by bold colours and visuals.

Poster explorations
These concept posters use repetitive patterns, bold colours and condensed type to enhance the fiery spirit of Girl Guides. The repetitive patterns create visual illusions and make the static poster in motion, almost as the same rhythm in the music beat. The purpose of this design is to draw viewers' attention to the image in order to grab their interest in Girl Guides of Canada and 🔥🔥🔥 Songs. The colour of the poster goes with the lighting of the music video, which helps create an edgy look.
